21世纪大学理工英语内容简介

本教材吸收不同大纲模式的优点，博采众长，进行单元练习、任务和活动编排。编写团队在单元主题与输入性材料的选择上花费了很多精力，旨在语言输入材料的选择上满足以下要求：首先，单元主题需考虑到理工专业和英语学习的对接，在主题选择时不宜过分突出理工学科的专业性，材料选择方面也应以理工科普类内容为主，避免专业性较强的内容。其次，每个单元人选的2篇阅读材料紧密围绕单元主题，反映当代现实生活，内容相辅相成，以激发学习者兴趣和思辨能力。再者，输入性语言材料需要考虑到对接“一带一路”倡议对英语人才的需求，如：不仅关注英美等发达国家的科技成就，也呈现中国及其他第三世界国家的社会生活。*后，需要在材料长度和难度方面把关，文章长度介于500-750词之间，确保教材的语言知识和技能锻炼由浅人深、循序渐进，尊重语言学习规律。本教材是基础级学生用书**册，包括六个单元，教材中的单元由三个部分（PART）构成。
