It is very important, because itis able to produce, store, and distribute all the electricity that an auto requires.Usually, the electrical system of the automobile will consist of a storage battery, horns, analternator or generator, the starting motor, the lighting system, the ignition system and differentelectrical accessories and control.In recent years, the electrical system of the automobile has changed a lot2. It is more importantthan ever.Many different auxiliary electrical devices are used in modern cars, such as air-conditioningsystem, phones, televisions, radios, CD and DVD players with surround sound systems, electricdoor locks and so on.Now computer chips regulate and monitor many things, such as obstacle sensors, securitysystems, cruise control systems, ABS and GPS.The electrical system can experience several problems, such as electrical componentsbecoming disconnected; battery failure; battery cables becoming loose or corroded; lightingsystem malfunction; ignition wires becoming broken, disconnected or arcing and so on. Sotechnicians should always check the components carefully and do everything possible to correctthe cause of the problem as soon as possible.
