    近年来，留学出国的热潮一浪高过一浪，一批批莘莘学子以及各行业的优秀人才
怀着对未来美好生活的憧憬，为了实现人生理想而踏上人生的又一次旅程——为通过
“雅思”考试(IELTS)而努力拼搏。
    “雅思”(IELTS)考试是“国际英语语言测试系统”(International English Lan—
guage Testing System)的简称，是由英国剑桥大学考试委员会(The University 0f Cam．
bridge Local Examination Syndicate—UCLES)、澳大利亚教育国际开发署(IDP Educa．
tion Australia)及英国文化委员会(The British Council)共同开发的国际英语水平测
试。与传统的英语考试相比，雅思更为重视英语语言的实际运用水平，侧重于考察考
生在英语国家的生存能力，是目前*权威、*科学、*实用、*全面的考核考生英语
综合能力的测试。随着认可雅思的国家日益增多，加之雅思的适用面广、考试次数较
多，因而它深受广大出国留学人员的喜爱，并成为他们走出国门时首选的语言考试。
此外，还有越来越多的人把参加雅思考试当作证实自己英语水平的手段，这也使得近
年来报考的人数激增。
    笔者从事雅思考试培训5年来，一直在一线执教雅思培训课程，受训人次逾5万
之多。还曾多次应邀到清华大学、北京大学、北京理工大学、北京师范大学、中国人
民大学、中国农业科学研究院、中央音乐学院、北京广播学院等高等院校、专业研究
院所进行雅思专场演讲，并数次接受北京电视台、搜狐教育频道等多家重要媒体的专
门采访。作为一名雅思教师，笔者深感有义务、有责任解决广大雅思考试在学习、考
试过程中遇到的困难，并且一直在探索能帮助广大考生在相对较短的时间内顺利通过
雅思考试、快速提高雅思成绩的方法。为此，笔者在5年雅思培训及潜心研究历年雅
思真题的基础上，根据历年口语版本号，汇聚了大量考生心得编著了这本《雅思口语
真题题源》。本书凝聚了笔者多年来的雅思口语培训、学习心得，浓缩再现了真题的
精华。
    本书有以下鲜明特点：

第三章Part 1真题高分解读策略
Could you show me your identification card please'?
Could you tell me your full name please?
What shall I call you?
Does your name have any special meaning?
Why do so many people change their names?
Is your name important to you?
这是口试的开头部分，主要是寒暄几句，互相介绍姓名，确认身份。所以考生这
时要尽快适应角色，可以看作是和一位新朋友认识，尽快放松自己，不要紧张。如果
自己有英文名字，*好告诉考官，这样容易让考官称呼你。如果自己的名字有含义，可
以风趣地介绍一下。
比如：Mname is Li Aiguo because my parents want me to be patriotic and love our country·
或者：My 13arne is Yang Fugui because my parents want me to make fortune when I give
up。You know，they have been living a poor life in most of their lives．
或者My nalxle is Cai Guoqing because 1 was born in the National Day 0f China．Many
Chinese has this name．

1．My typical day consists of arriVing at the hospital between 6：15 and 6：30 a．m．The
first thing I do is to check t0 see where I have been assigned for the day．I may be in
an operating room(o．R．)giVing an anesthetic，oY in our pre-op area interViewing
patients and preparing them for surgery，or in 0bstetrics heIping moms have their
babies safeIy attd comfortably，or in charge of the o．R．that day．Some of our patients
wiU need special procedures to prepare them for surgery，and I help with that too．If
I am on caU，1 work 24 hours and then have the hext day 0ff．otherwise，my day will
end anywhere from 12 noon to 7 p-m．
2．I’m a telecommunication engineer．But my daYto—day work involves quite a lot of
management iSsues．In fact，I take charge of the Shanghai branch 0f Nol(ia，alld have a
dozen or s0 professionals working under me to cope with the technical side of the work．
3．I spend most of time answering phone calls．n’s not an active job that involves too many
movements，but I do enjoy it a 10L except the circumstance when I get a phone caU from
a CUStomer who loses儿s ternper．Sometimes，they just want to shOUt at someone,and
because I’m the first one to answer the phone,I get the fuu vent of their anger．
4．I love my job because I find medicine extiting and chaUenging．I have to use tech-
nical skills to perform procedures on patie门ts，I have to use intellectual skiUs to prob—
lem solVe，and I have to use personal SkilIS to help patients get through the anxietv of
surgery，anesthesia and sometimes the pain afterward．
5．I enjoy my WOEk very much．It does have pressures sometimes，but really it’s quite
a g00d job．I enjoy the people 1 work with too，which reaUy can make or break a job．
We get on very weU and can depend on eech other．
6．My job is full of chauenges and interests，and I think that the best thing about it is
the satisfaction I get from dealing with problems．Each time I manege to make things
done successfully，1 will feel a great sense of satisfaction．
7．I think the worstpart of my job is the 10ng hours that I’m sometimes required to work．
I think my bOSS shOUld manege to design it so that I can be aUowed to go homa not too
1ate every njght．
8．Well，I’m an English teacher．I teach high schooI students who will choose to major in
English at university．I’Ve been working for neatly eight years since I came to China,and
I have been inv01Ving in teaching a whole variety of courses over the past eight years．
9．The best th血g about my job is thaL at the end of the day，a11 that matters is that the
masic’s great and that what we do hera is all about masic，and for me,it’s a dream iob．
BasicaUy I trained as a musician．1 went to masic college．I actuaⅡy played in a lot of
